Inventory of goods
Inventory of goods should be an integral part of every company, as it helps you get a realistic picture of the amount of your stock in the store and in the warehouse.
Unfortunately, companies often postpone inventories, conduct them only formally or not at all. This results in significant financial losses that far exceed the costs of conducting the inventory itself.
Don’t have the capacity to conduct an inventory on your own? Order an inventory from us and get precise output with real data.

Good to know: According to Act No. 563/1991 Coll., accounting entities are obliged to carry out an inventory of assets and liabilities. This includes goods, materials, and products. There are two types: physical and documentary. Typically, a regular inventory should be conducted at least once a year at the end of the accounting period.

Frequently asked questions about inventory of goods
How much does turnkey inventory of goods cost under Leite's management?
It depends on many factors. Specifically on the duration of the inventory, whether it needs to be conducted at night or on holidays, whether the inventory items are marked with a BAR code or need to be entered manually, etc. Another important factor is the volume of work and length of the contract. For long-term contracts and large chains, the price for inventory can go down to 0.45 CZK / unit excluding VAT.
What do we need to know to prepare a price quote?
Specifically, we need to know your preferred date (or dates), the approximate scope or size of the inventory (ideally the expected number of items), what type of inventory it is, and whether the inventory items (goods, materials, products, semi-finished products, etc.) are labeled with a unique identifier (QR, RFID, BARcode, stock card number)? Also, how much time is allocated for the inventory, whether you have an accounting stock or not, where the location of the inventory will be, and whether it’s a one-time order or if you’re interested in long-term cooperation, etc. Yes, all of this and many other nuances affect pricing. Contact us and we’ll discuss everything with you and then send you a specific price offer.
How quickly can you complete the inventory of goods?
The duration of the inventory of goods is largely dependent on the customer’s wishes and time availability. It also depends on the complexity and overall process of the inventory. We always strive to adapt as much as possible so as not to limit the customer in their “core business.” For a better idea: The standard duration of an inventory in an average-sized supermarket is around 6 hours.
What does an inventory from Leite include?
The inventory itself is a process and must be completed if you want the inventory to be conducted properly. It’s like building a house: If the project is not well-prepared at the beginning, its construction (implementation) will subsequently be more complicated.
The inventory is preceded by a detailed preparation of the inventory process in cooperation with you (the customer). Only after the process is approved is a customized price offer prepared.
After approval and mutual agreement, implementation begins, which includes preparation for the inventory according to approved conditions, the inventory itself, and then evaluation of the inventory results.
When can you come and start the inventory of goods?
For new customers (companies we haven’t had the pleasure of working with before), it’s typically within 30 days of approving the inventory process. For customers we work with long-term, it’s usually within 7 to 14 days, depending on the size of the order (inventory).
